Introduction:

Virulence is the ability of a pathogen or microbe to infect a host organism. There are the certain factors that boost up the effectiveness of the virulence, are called the virulence factors. These factors are in the form of molecules that are produced by bacteria, virus, fungi, and protozoa. Example of virulence factors are toxins, surface coats that inhibit phagocytosis, and surface receptors that bind to host cells.
