Introduction:
Vitamin B12 is an essential vitamin for the body as it prevents the occurrence of megaloblastic anemia. It also regulates the proper functioning of the nerves and synthesizes DNA and RNA. This vitamin is used in the formation of RBCs that is why scarcity of it causes the pernicious anemia.
