Introduction:
The granulocytes are the white blood cells that are characterized by the presence of granules in the cytoplasm. The granulocytes also called polymorphonuclear leukocytes or polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMN, PML, or PMNL). The granulocytes are usually lobbed and have varying shapes of the nucleus.
