Chapter 19.2, Problem 3CYP
Summary Introduction
To explain:
How checkpoints control the cell growth.
Introduction :
There are four stages in a cell cycle; G1, S, G2 and M. There are three checkpoints; G1, G2 and M to control the speed at which a cell moves through a cell cycle. G1, S and G2 stages are part of interphase during which DNA is synthesized. In G1 stage cell is prepared for the synthesis of DNA, in S stage DNA is replicated and in G2 stage cell is prepared for cell division.
