Introduction:

Chromosomes are the complex structural organizations of the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and protein in the cell. To explain the formation of this complex structure, different models were given but the best model was the “folded-fiber” model by DuPraw in 1965. This structure explains the organization of the DNA and histone proteins inside the cell nucleus. He proposed this model on the basis of his studies of the human chromosome by electron microscopy.
