Introduction:

Nucleic acids are the biomolecules that are important to the organism because they carry the genetic information of the organism. Nucleic acid posses a sugar-phosphate backbone attached with the nitrogenous base. They are found in the nucleus of the cell and in some organelles of cell such as mitochondria and chloroplast. They are of two types namely RNA and DNA.
