The living (biotic) and nonliving (abiotic) components directly involved through the energy flows and nutrient cycle. The soil minerals, energy, water and nitrogen are the essential component of an ecosystem. Basically, the energy from the sunlight used by an ecosystem through the process of photosynthesis and the animals are playing an essential role in the movement of matter.
