Summary Introduction
To write:
Mechanism of formation of pseudopods during treadmilling.
Introduction:
Amoeboid movement, a method of cell-crawling that relies on the activity of their actin filaments, in a system comparable to that used by amoebas to maneuver their environment. When crawling, the motile cell forms foot-like protrusions, or pseudopods, at the "front" or leading edge of the cell in the direction of the target.
