Mollusks are the group of organism included in the sub kingdom eumetazoa. Mollusks belong to the larger clade characterized by bilateral symmetry and three germ layers. They are protostomes which means that mouth develops from the first opening in the embryo at gastrulation. Snail, sea slug, oyster and octopus are some examples of mollusks.
