Mycoses are a term given to diseases caused by fungi. When fungal diseases spread they are known as systemic mycoses. Opportunistic fungi are the cause of systemic mycoses. There are some types of infections which occur most frequently in immunocompromised conditions. Opportunistic fungi attack or cause infections in human having weak immunity.
