Introduction:
There are several types of cells in a plant. Like the guard cells, meristematic cells, collenchymas, sclerenchyma and many others. Some cells are supportive in function which provides mechanical support to the plants like the collenchymas, sclerenchyma. Some other cells are conductive in function like the xylem and phloem cells and many other cells still have other functions like protection.
