Chapter 22.1, Problem 3CC
Summary Introduction

The bacteria have a wide range of diversity when compared to eukaryotes and they tend to adapt to their inhabited environment. Hence, the bacteria are studied as a separate field of study in the microbiology. The four phyla of the bacteria that have most species are Bacteroidetes, Proteobacteria, Firmicutes, and Actinobacteria. The α-proteobacteria or Alphaproteobacteria is the most abundant bacteria when compared with all the microbes consisting of twenty families with seven orders.
