Question
Chapter 22.9, Problem 34WDL
Summary Introduction
To identify:
The type of immunity, active or passive results in the production of memory cells and generally provides lifelong protection from that antigen.
Concept introduction:
There are two types of immunity: active immunity and passive immunity. The memory cells are the cells of active immunity, which develop due to subsequent contact with antigens. This lifetime protection can also be acquired through the artificially acquired immunity.

Distinguish susceptibility from resistance, and innate from acquired immunity. Why are these traditionally recognized types of immunity now more difficult to distinguish?
Acquired or adaptive immunity can be divided in to Natural Active, Natural Passive, Artificial Active, and Artificial Passive Immunity. Which types will lead to long lasting immune protection? Which will provide short term protection?
