Introduction:

Perishable foods are the ones that are likely to decay or spoil if not frozen or refrigerated. For example: meat, fruits, and so on. Semi perishable foods are stored in sealed containers and don not spoil until opened. Once opened, they decay or spoil within a few weeks. For example: tomato sauce. Non-perishable foods are the types of food that do not decay or spoil and can be left for an infinite time without refrigeration. These foods have long shelf life. For example: dry foods.
