Introduction:
The absorptive state is referred to as four hours of time after a meal. During this state, the ingested nutrients are digested, absorbed, and stored for body requirements. In absorptive state, our body absorbs much glucose through the small intestine, so that blood glucose concentration is very high. In this condition, insulin is secreted in the beta cells of pancreas and stores the excess blood glucose into glycogen.
