Concept introduction: tRNA transfers the RNA that act as nucleic acid decoder. This plays an important role in the translation process. The mRNA codons are read by the anticodon arm of tRNA that codes for the protein. This synthesizes the protein sequence. Xpot is the gene that is encoded by the exportin-T protein in humans. The major role of this gene is the translocation of tRNA to cytoplasm, when the exportin is bound with tRNA and GTP-bound RAN.
