Do you agree or disagree why? Prior to this video I had not been introduced to the concept of genetically modified babies or "designer babies". However, a concept that was brought up in comparison to the designer babies was IVF babies. This concept is more familiar to me and made me think of the great possibilities designer babies could bring, but at what cost? As IVF first became popular it seemed to be well known that was was a possibility for well-off financially families. Although designer babies may have benefits such as lowering the risk to develop hereditary diseases, I don't think this concept would be widely accessible to varying income levels.
