Concept introduction:

Polymerization is the process in which the small molecules (monomer molecules) link together in a chemical reaction to form large chain that are called polymer.

Polymer may contain one or more than one functional group in its structure.

Anionic polymerization is a type of chain growth polymerization in which the nucleophilic agents that is strong electronegative groups polymerizes the vinyl polymers.

This process occurs in three steps, initiation, propagation and termination.
