Difference
Ordinary light contains many wavelengths from red to violet and the combination is a white light.	Laser light is made up of one particular wavelength only and hence exhibit the color of that wavelength only

Both are energy carrying waves

Ordinary light is produced by blackbodies at high temperatures by emitting a range of frequencies to cool down. On the other hand, laser light is produced by the transition of electron from higher energy state to lower energy state by exciting it using a particular frequency of photon.
