Introduction:

Phototropism can be described as the type of organism bending towards or moving towards the direction of light coming from the source. It’s basically the bending of the upper part of the plant towards source of light holding the lower part steady. When light comes and the plants or trees moving towards the light is called positive phototropism. If for some reasons some plants moves away to opposite direction is called negative phototropism.
