Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Hydrolysis is a reaction in which the water molecules are added to the given reactants. The water ( H2O ) molecules break down to form H+ i.e. Hydrogen cation and OH i.e. hydroxyl group. It also helps in splitting the reactant molecule into two parts from which one part is attached to the H+ i.e. Hydrogen cation and other part binds with the OH i.e. hydroxyl group.
