Chapter 31, Problem 1RQ
Summary Introduction

To determine:

Three different levels of biodiversity.

Introduction:

Biodiversity is where the living organism like plants, animals, humans, and microorganism live together and play an important role in balancing the ecosystem and maintaining the food chain or food web.

Biodiversity is of three types: genetic, species, and ecosystem.

Genetics make all the variations in the living organism and give them unique characteristics.

Plants, animals, microorganism, and humans are the species which live in an ecosystem.

The ecosystem is the place where the entire living organisms live together and play important roles.

Summary Introduction

To determine:

Importance of three different levels of biodiversity.

Introduction:

Genetics, species, and ecosystem are the types of biodiversity. They are connected to each other like species live in the ecosystem with a variation which comes from genetic. They have different roles in the ecosystem. Genetic provide variation in the species; plants, animals, and humans they all come under the species; and ecosystem is the place where they live. The ecosystem has many types like a forest ecosystem, desert ecosystem, freshwater ecosystem, and marine ecosystem.
