Chapter 31.6, Problem 4SB
Summary Introduction
To review:
The organs exhibiting segmentation in Annelids.
Introduction:
Annelida is the phylum of segmented worms found in aquatic, marine, or freshwater, terrestrial, and burrowing habitats. They are triploblastic and bilaterally symmetrical organisms. A true coelom is present that means body cavity is lined by distinct mesoderm layer. Respiration is cutaneous (from moist skin). Excretion is done with the help of special glands called nephridia and metanephridia. Circulatory system is closed type.
