The human belong to the subgroup or the sub-classification of Deuterostomes The Deuterostomes contain the sub group called the phylum Chordata Human belong to the phylum Chordata as during their embryonic stage derived characters of chordates are present in them. Human are most related to the Chordata clade of the Deuterostomia clade. They are least related to the phylum Porifera of the Metazoa clade.
