Chad will double the recipe.

To double the recipe each of the ingredients will be doubled.

Chad will use basil

= ( $\frac{2\times 6}{4}$ ) teaspoons

= $\frac{12}{4}$ teaspoons

=3 teaspoons

Salt used = $(2\times \frac{2}{4})$ = $\frac{2\times 2}{4}$ = $\frac{4}{4}$ = 1 teaspoon

Pepper used = $(2\times \frac{1}{4})$ = $\frac{2\times 1}{4}$ = $\frac{2}{4}$ = $\frac{1}{2}$ teaspoon

Parsley used = $(2\times 4)$ = $8$ teaspoons
