Explanation of Solution

Nutrition: It is the process of acquiring nutrients. The nutrient can be defined as a substance acquired by the living organism for performing activities essential for living. These activities include growth, repair, normal metabolism and reproduction.

Calorie: It is the unit of heat energy that used to measure the amount of energy is given off to the body after consuming it.

Vitamin: These are organic substances required in very small quantity but are essential for growth and normal well being.

Mineral: These are the elements which are required for an organism to function properly. For example: iron, zinc, iodine, chromium, copper, fluoride.
