Concept introduction:
Respiratory disease is a general term inferring the pathological state of a condition affecting the lungs and its associated tissue system. The most common respiratory diseases like Pneumonia, bronchitis, tuberculosis, common cold, asthma etc. Respiratory diseases are caused by various factors like pathogenic microbes, environmental pollution, and genetic factors. Drugs which are used to treat respiratory diseases are called respiratory drugs.
