Chapter 39, Problem 15TYK
Summary Introduction
To review:
Designing an experiment that tests whether neurons are connected by electrical or chemical synapse.
Introduction:
Synapses are small gaps between two neurons that are used to maintain communication between them. This type of synapse is known as a chemical synapse. Although not all neurons communicate this way, the plasma membrane of some neurons directly connects and communicate with each other through a site called gap junction. This type of connection is known as an electrical connection.
