Serendipity Booksellers has a hook club that awards points to its customers based on the number of books purchased each month. The points are awarded as follows:
• If a customer purchases 0 books, he or she earns 0 points.
• If a customer purchases 1 book, he or she earns 5 points.
• If a customer purchases 2 books, he or she earns 15 points.
• If a customer purchases 3 books, he or she earns 30 points.

- Retail Price Calculator Create an application that lets the user enter an item’s wholesale cost and its markup percentage. It should then display the item’s retail price. For example: • If an item’s wholesale cost is $5.00 and its markup percentage is 100 percent, then the item’s retail price is $10.00. • If an item’s wholesale cost is $5.00 and its markup percentage is 50 percent, then the item’s retail price is $7.50. The program should have a method named CalculateRetail that receives the wholesale cost and the markup percentage as arguments and returns the retail price of the item.arrow_forwardSequence Diagramarrow_forwardnstructions Timed Test This test has a time limit of 30 minutes. This test will save ar Warnings appear when half the time, 5 minutes, 1 minute Multiple Attempts Not allowed. - Web page bill calculator. User inputs the "item name" and "item amount" on the webpage. The webpage will return the total money he need to pay. If the payment is more than 30 dollars, the user can have a 10% off discount. The client orders an item from online shop, then item can go to post office, then it will be delivered to the user home. Or the item after being ordered it goes to the post office, then the user will pick it up from the post office. In both cases; either take the item from the post office or has it delivered to the client's home represents the end of the process. Q1)Draw the state diagram that shows all possible states and transitions? Q2) Write code of the Ordered state? Q3) Write the implementation of the ShopOrder class; most important things are the states declaration, the constructor, a function to return robot statearrow_forwardTEMPERATURE CONVERTER WEBSITE The user will input a temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius and press a "convert" button. The converted temperature will then be displayed with the correct unit. Your Ul should include four main elements: Input field for the user to type in their temperature - don't forget to validate that the input is a number! Dropdown menu or radio button for the user to choose if they are inputting in Celsius or Fahrenheit "Convert" button to trigger the temperature conversion Display area for the final converted temperature and unit For an extra challenge: You can add in a third conversion option to convert from and to Kelvin as well. please Don't Copy from internetarrow_forward
- Retail Price Calculator Create an application that lets the user enter an item's wholesale cost and its markup percentage. It should then display the items retail price. For example: If an item's wholesale cost is $5.00 and its markup percentage is 100 percent, then the item's retail price is $10. If an item's wholesale cost is $5.00 and its markup percentage is 50 percent, then the item's retail price is $7.50. The program should have a method named CalculateRetail that receives the wholesale cost and the markup percentage as arguments and returns the retail price of the item. In addition, there should be the name of the Wholesale Company displayed (be creative). If the cost is over $500, display a $20 discount on the retail price. For example: If an item's wholesale cost is $600.00 and its markup percentage is 100 percent, then the item's retail price is $1,180. ( Markup = $600 * 100% = 600 Retail Price = $600 + $600 - $20 (wholesale cost + markup - discount)arrow_forwardTraffic light control sequence flowchart A typical traffic light control sequence for a 4 road junction has been described below (for a road system where the vehicles keep to their left while driving i.e. Australia, UK, South Africa etc). The light changes as per the sequence listed below: A. Before switch ON, all 4 roads should get ‘flashing yellow’ so as to enable them to look around and cross the road junction. B. When switched ON, Main roads 1 & 3 should get green signals G1/G3 to go straight. This signal remains on for 30 seconds. C. The above signals should be changed over to go right GR1/GR3 for 15 seconds only if any sensor S1/S3 of vehicles waiting to turn right is detected in the right turn lane . This will take place after a brief yellow signals Y1/Y3 in between. D. In case no vehicle is waiting for right turn, the roads 1 & 3 should be closed with red signals R1/R3 and interim yellow signals Y1/Y3 for 2 seconds. E. - Challenge task The distance a vehicle travels can be calculated as follows: distance = speed * time For example, if a vehicle starts a trip at 10 miles and travels 40 miles per hour for 4 hours, the distance traveled is 170 miles, the first 2 hours the distance=80+10=90, and the second one=160+10=170. Write a program which reads the speed of a vehicle (in miles per hour) and how many hours it has traveled. The program should then use a for loop to display the distance the vehicle has traveled for every 2 hours of that time period. 1 Roserio ףי Constraints Nonearrow_forwardOption buttons let the user no select from one of several choices. * True Falsearrow_forwardFalling Distance When an object is falling because of gravity, the following formula can be used to determine the distance the object falls in a specific time period: d =1/2gt2 The variables in the formula are as follows: d is the distance in meters, g is 9.8, and t is the amount of time in seconds that the object has been falling. Create an application that allows the user to enter the amount of time that an object has fallen and then displays the distance that the object fell. The application should have a method named FallingDistance. The FallingDistance method should accept an object’s falling time (in seconds) as an argument. The method should return the distance in meters that the object has fallen during that time interval.arrow_forward
