The risks involved in third- and fourth-degree burns.
Introduction:
When due to heat, electricity, or shock skin burns leading to tissue damage and cell death, it is characterized as burn. Depending on the severity of the burn, they are categorized as first degree, second degree, third degree, and fourth degree. Unlike first- and second-degree burns, which are usually superficial, third- and fourth-degree burns occur due to prolonged exposure to the skin leading to deeper burns causing the nearby skin to be charred and blackened.
