Interpretation Introduction
Interpretation:
The enzymes known to be involved in Alzheimer’s disease is to be explained.
Concept Introduction:
Alzheimer disease is a neurodegenerative disease, which starts slowly and gets worse with the passage of time. This disease is characterized by the presence of extracellular amyloid plaques and intracellular neurofibrillary tangles, resulting in neuronal dysfunction and cell death. Amyloid is characterized by general term for protein fragments that the body produces normally. Amyloid plaques are present between nerve cells (neurons) in the brain.
