The products of the fertilization or conception is termed as conceptus. The conceptus includes all the structure developed from zygote, both embryonic and extra embryonic. It represents developmental stages starting from the zygote to the fetus. It also includes the associated structures that is umbilical cord, placenta, and amniotic sac.
