    The air bag module consist the air bag and infalter assembly integrated into a single housing. The igniter assembly is housed inside it. To inflate an air bag, a chemical reaction is initiated inside the bag when some amount of voltage is applied to it. As the voltage is applied, the spark plug is activated and the current is passed between both of its ends. This spark ignites the gas generator and causes a rapid expansion of gas which deploys the air bag.
