Rock, Paper, Scissors Game
Write a
The program should work as follows:
1. When the program begins, a random number in the range of 1 through 3 is generated. If the number is 1, then the computer has chosen rock. If the number is 2, then the computer has chosen paper. If the number is 3, then the computer has chosen scissors. (Don't display the computer's choice yet.)
2. The user enters his or her choice of “rock,” “paper,” or “scissors” at the keyboard.
3. The computer's choice is displayed.
4. A winner is selected according to the following rules:
▪ If one player chooses rock and the other player chooses scissors, then rock wins. (Rock smashes scissors.)
▪ If one player chooses scissors and the other player chooses paper, then scissors wins. (Scissors cuts paper.)
▪ If one player chooses paper and the other player chooses rock, then paper wins. (Paper wraps rock.)
▪ If both players make the same choice, the game must be played again to determine the winner.

- 9. Trivia Game In this programming exercise, you will create a simple trivia game for two players. The program will work like this: Starting with player 1, each player gets a turn at answering 5 trivia questions. (There should be a total of 10 questions.) When a question is displayed, 4 possible answers are also displayed. Only one of the answers is correct, and if the player selects the correct answer, he or she earns a point. After answers have been selected for all the questions, the program displays the number of points earned by each player and declares the player with the highest number of points the winner. To create this program, write a Question class to hold the data for a trivia question. The Question class should have attributes for the following data: A trivia question Possible answer 1 Possible answer 2 Possible answer 3 Possible answer 4 The number of the correct answer (1, 2, 3, or 4) The Question class also should have an appropriate _…arrow_forward9. After the first roll of the three dice, a player may choose to roll the dice as many times as they wish until the player gets at least one side 2 from a dice. When a player gets at least one side 2 from the dice, that player's score drops to zero, and the turn switches to the other player. Both players play the game for an equal number of turns, and the player who gets a score higher than 18 wins. If both players get a score higher than 18 within an equal number of turns, the player with the higher score wins. If both of the players got the same scores, print the scores of the players. These are the minimum required functions for this program. Design and implement these functions. You can create more functions if you choose to. Here is the provided starter code: # A program to play a Dice game. import random def roll_die(): ''' Simulate a die roll ''' def…arrow_forward
- Monty Hall Problem – Coding Lab In this lab, you will write a code that simulates the Monty Hall Game Show. Thegame host gives the participant the choice of selecting one of three doors. Twodoors has a goat behind them and one door has a prize. The set of choices arerandomized each round. The participant needs to select the door with the prizebehind it. When the participant selects a door, the game host reveals a door with agoat behind it. The game host opens a door (different from the one selected by theparticipant) that has a goat behind it. The participant is then given the option tochange their choice. When you run your code, the code would display a message prompting the user toinput their door choice, labelled as 1, 2, and 3. Then the code will display a doornumber (different from the one the user picked) with a goat behind it and ask theuser if they would like to change their choice. The code then displays a message onwhether the user guessed the correct door. The game then…arrow_forwardSlot Machine Simulation- I need to get answer in Pseudocode A slot machine is a gambling device that the user inserts money into and then pulls a lever (or presses a button). The slot machine then displays a set of random images. If two or more of the images match, the user wins an amount of money, which the slot machine dispenses back to the user. Design a program that simulates a slot machine. When the program runs, it should do the following: Ask the user to enter the amount of money he or she wants to insert into the slot machine. Instead of displaying images, the program will randomly select a word from the following list: Cherries, Oranges, Plums, Bells, Melons, Bars The program will select and display a word from this list three times. If none of the randomly selected words match, the program will inform the user that he or she has won $0. If two of the words match, the program will inform the user that he or she has won two times the amount entered. If three of the words…arrow_forward(Simulation) Write a program to simulate the roll of two dice. If the total of the two dice is 7 or 11, you win; otherwise, you lose. Embellish this program as much as you like, with betting, different odds, different combinations for win or lose, stopping play when you have no money left or reach the house limit, displaying the dice, and so forth. (Hint: Calculate the dots showing on each die with the expression dots=(int)(6.0randomnumber+1), where the random number is between 0 and 1.)arrow_forward
- (Bar-Chart Printing Program) One interesting application of computers is drawing graphsand bar charts. Write a program that reads five numbers (each between 1 and 30). For each numberread, your program should print a line containing that number of adjacent asterisks. For example,if your program reads the number seven, it should print *******.arrow_forwardGuess The Number Game: write a program that will ask the user to guess a secret numberrandomly generated by your program between 1-10. Player have 3 trials to guess the number.After each trial, you have to inform the user, either he/she has guessed it correctly or not, andthe remaining trials to guess the number. In each trial your program should generate a newrandom number. If user guess at least twice correctly, then shows the message, “you won by 2-1” and vice versa for losing.When game is over, ask the user to play again: If the user types "yes", the game start again.else stop the game.arrow_forwardAssignment Description This program will simulate part of the game of Yahtzee! This is a dice game that involves rolling five dice and scoring points based on what show up on those five dice. The players would record their scores on a score card, and then total them up, and the player with the larger total wins the game. A Yahtzee score card has two portions: The upper portion has spaces for six scores, obtained by adding up all of the 1's, 2's, 3's, etc. The lower portion has special scores for various combinations: Three of a kind -- at least 3 dice are the same number;the score is the sum of all five dice Four of a kind -- at least 4 dice are the same number;the score is the sum of all five dice Small straight -- four consecutive numbers are represented, e.g. 2345;the score is 25 points Large straight -- five consecutive numbers are represented, e.g. 23456;the score is 30 points Full House -- three of one kind, two of another; the score is 30 points Yahtzee! -- five of a kind; the…arrow_forward
- Craps is a single player dice game, that proceeds as follows:1. the player rolls 2 six-sided dice once if the total is 7 or 11, the player wins if the total is 2, 3 or 12, the player loses otherwise, the game continues, ... see 2 ... 2. the player the continues to roll the dice repeatedly, until ... the total is the same as the original total (from 1), in which case the player wins the total is 7, in which case the player loses Write a function craps using Python that simulates a single game of craps (may be many rolls) and returns 1 if the player wins and 0 otherwise. Sample results examples: >> import random>>> random.seed(0)>>> craps()0 >>> random.seed(1)>>> craps()1 >>> random.seed(2)>>> craps()0 >>> [ (i,random.seed(i),craps()) for i in range(20)][(0, None, 0), (1, None, 1), (2, None, 0), (3, None, 1), (4, None, 0), (5, None,1), (6, None, 0), (7, None, 1), (8, None, 0), (9, None, 0), (10,…arrow_forwardP3 – Inverted Pyramid of Odd Numbers Write a program that prompts the user to enter an integer from 1 to 15 (that shows the number of lines) and displays an inverted pyramid of odd numbers starting with 1, as shown in the following sample run: Please enter the number of lines: 7 13 11 9 7 5 3 1 3 5 7 9 11 13 11 9 7 5 3 1 3 5 7 9 11 9 7 5 3 1 3 5 7 9 7 5 3 1 3 5 7 5 3 1 3 5 3 1 3 1arrow_forwardWidgets and Gizmos An online retailer sells two products: widgets and gizmos.
