Chapter 5, Problem 4SEP
Write a program for evaluating the stability of a rectangular block placed in a fluid in a specified orientation. Call for input data for length, width, height, and weight (or specific weight) of the block; location of the center of gravity; and specific weight of the fluid. Solve for the position of the block when it is floating, the location of the center of buoyancy, and the metacenter. Compare the location of the metacenter with the center of gravity to evaluate stability.
