Explanation of Solution

Different formats for bits interpretation in memory:

• Operations in computation problems are interpreted in various formats in machines.
• The various formats are address, instructions, binary integers, floating point integers and characters.

Addresses:

• Depending on the processor there are various ways in which addresses are represented.
• Address refers to the location in the memory of data and instruction.
• It can be of 8 bytes or 16 bytes or 32 bytes, and so on depending on the processor.
• The number of bytes required to represent the addresses constitute the memory space of the computer system.
• Operation can be generally as one of the following such as stack, accumulator, register-memory or register-register.

Instructions:

• Instructions represents the sequence of steps to be performed for the completion of a task.
