Summary Introduction
To discuss:
The steps in the healing of a wound such as a cut in the skin.
Introduction:
A damage to the tissues takes place in many ways, which includes external damage by cut, tear, scratch, graze, laceration, abrasion, wound, and etc. Repair mechanism of tissues is important for healing process. It involves the removal of inflammatory cells and formation of tissue granulation. Wound healing is the important process to repair the damages tissues. Repairing of damaged tissues is involved in two ways namely regeneration and fibrosis.

Why do tissues swell during inflammation?
Tissues swell during inflammation because of the volume of bacteria present in the wound
Tissues swell during inflammation because of the number of red blood cells attacking the bacteria Tissues swell during inflammation because the increased permeability of capillaries causes fluids to accumulate in the area.
Tissues swell during inflammation only because of pus accumulation
