Roulette Wheel Colors
On a roulette wheel, the pockets are numbered from 0 to 36. The colors of the pockets are as follows:
- Pocket 0 is green.
- For pockets 1 through 10, the odd numbered pockets are red and the even numbered pockets are black.
- For pockets 11 through 18, the odd numbered pockets are black and the even numbered pockets are red.
- For pockets 19 through 28, the odd numbered pockets are red and the even numbered pockets are black.
- For pockets 29 through 36, the odd numbered pockets are black and the even numbered pockets are red.
Write a class named RoulettePocket. The class’s constructor should accept a pocket number. The class should have a method named getPocketColor that returns the pocket’s color, as a string.
Demonstrate the class in a

- 9. Tree Age (Python) Counting the growth rings of a tree is a good way to tell the age of a tree. Each growth ring counts as one year. Use a Canvas widget to draw how the growth rings of a 5-year-old tree might look. Then, using the create_text method, number each growth ring starting from the center and working outward with the age in years associated with that ring.arrow_forwardTests that look inside the box There are a lot of different ways to test a black box.arrow_forwardThe Lo Shu Magic Square has the following properties: The grid contains the numbers 1 9 exactly The sum of each row, each column and each diagonal all add up to the same number. This is shown below: 15 9 2 +15 3 7 +15 8 1 6. +15 15 15 15 15 Write a program that simulates a magic square using 3 one-dimensional parallel arrays of integer type. Each one of the arrays corresponds to a row of the magic square. The program ask the user to enter the values of the magic square row by row and informs the user if the grid a magic square or not. 4)arrow_forward
- Money Counting Algorithm: Write a program that shows how much the 25 cents, 50 cents and 1 TL coins you put on paper are worth using the size and color information. The algorithm is entirely up to you. Explain the algorithm you developed, add code and images. b) Heads and Tails Detection Algorithm: Write the program that shows whether the coin placed on the paper is heads or tails. Developing the algorithm is entirely up to you. This algorithm should work in three currencies. (If you find a suitable code, etc. somewhere, it is a direct copy. Your codes should be in accordance with the lectures. Put explanations about what you are doing).arrow_forwardCard guessing Design a strategy that minimizes the expected number of questions asked in the following game You have a deck of cards that consists of one ace of spades, two deuces of spades, three threes, and on up to nine nines, making 45 cards in all. Someone draws a card from the shuffled deck, which you have to identify by asking questions answerable with yes or no.arrow_forwardFour in a row is a game in which players take turns adding tokens to the columns on the game board. Tokens fall to the lowest position in the chosen column that does not already have a token in it. Once one of the players has placed four of their tokens in a straight line (either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally), they win the game If the board is full and no player has won, then the game ends in a draw. TASK Using the following class descriptions, create a UML diagram and a version of Four in a row game The game must allow for a minimum of two and maximum of four players The game must allow each player to enter their name(duplicate names should not be accepted) The game should give the players the ability to choose how many rows (between four and ten), and how many columns (between four and ten) the game board should have. The code uses several classes, including "Player", "Board","Game" and exceptions for handling errors such as invalid moves and full columns.…arrow_forward
- Output Specification The program prints out the total Calories of the selected meal, and stops executing after this output. Sample Input Соpy 1. Sample Output Сopy Your total Calorie count is 649. Explanation The customer chose Burger #2, Side #1, Drink #3 and Dessert #4.arrow_forwardRoad Trip Programming challenge description: You've decided to make a road trip across the country in a straight line. You have chosen the direction you'd like to travel and made a list of cities in that direction that have gas stations to stop at and fill up your tank. To make sure that this route is viable, you need to know the distances between the adjacent cities in order to be able to travel this distance on a single tank of gasoline, (No one likes running out of gas.) but you only know distances to each city from your starting point. Input: Your program should read lines from standard input. Each line contains the list of cities and distances to them, comma delimited, from the starting point of your trip. You start your trip at point 0. The cities with their distances are separated by semicolon. Output: Print out the distance from the starting point to the nearest city, and the distances between two nearest cities separated by comma, in order they appear on the route. - Coffee vending machine: It is a vending system that can work for different prices of coffee. It works with coins. It should calculate the ammount difference and be able to refund extra money. The user will first select the product, the vending system will print the price on the screen, then the user will throw the money, the system will check the amount of money when the buy product button is pressed, if the amount of money is suitable, it will check whether the product is in the system, and if the product is available, it will deliver the coffee. It will refund extra money to customer. 1) Draw the sequence diagram for the scenario given above.2) Draw the class diagram for the given scenario. Thank you so much.arrow_forwardMonty Hall Problem – Coding Lab In this lab, you will write a code that simulates the Monty Hall Game Show. Thegame host gives the participant the choice of selecting one of three doors. Twodoors has a goat behind them and one door has a prize. The set of choices arerandomized each round. The participant needs to select the door with the prizebehind it. When the participant selects a door, the game host reveals a door with agoat behind it. The game host opens a door (different from the one selected by theparticipant) that has a goat behind it. The participant is then given the option tochange their choice. When you run your code, the code would display a message prompting the user toinput their door choice, labelled as 1, 2, and 3. Then the code will display a doornumber (different from the one the user picked) with a goat behind it and ask theuser if they would like to change their choice. The code then displays a message onwhether the user guessed the correct door. The game then…arrow_forwardPython Turtle Graphics Draw a spiral diagram using Python turtle package program follows 3 steps: Import the turtle module Create a turtle to control. Draw around using the turtle methods. You should consider the following points in your solution: The shapes should be drawn with the shown colors Yellow and white for the square-like shapes. Blue for the background. The prompt should have a turtle shape. The number of iterations should be 300 You should use only one loop. The number of the yellow color lines should be 200. The final shape of the output should be as shown in the picture attached. Make sure to set properly the starting position (x & y) of your drawing, to maintain the required diagram. video on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqoJD2RMu1Iarrow_forward
