Introduction :
Force is a push or pull given to an object so that there is a change in its velocity that takes place. The force changes the position as well as the velocity of an object.
The viewpoint is wrong. If you kick a ball in a game of soccer, it gets a force but this force is a contact force. The ball remains in motion due to this force but this force is not present when there is no contact.
Conclusion:
The viewpoint is incorrect.
