Introduction:
The molecules present in the intracellular or extracellular fluid needs to be transported across the membrane to regulate the metabolic activities. The transportation of molecules or ions across the membrane occurs by a different process. The waste products are released from the cells into the extracellular fluid, where the essential molecules are taken by the cells or tissues from the extracellular fluid.
