To explain: Relation between amount of current out of a battery and the amount of current in the four branches of a parallel circuit.

Explanation of Solution

Introduction:

Parallel circuits are circuits with multiple paths for the flow of current.

Because in a parallel circuit, voltage is same and current is given by $\text{voltage/resistance}$ , but the current in a branch depends upon the resistance in that branch. Hence the current is different in each branch of a parallel circuit. But the total current of all the branches will be equal to be current supplied to the circuit.

Conclusion:

The amount of current flowing out of the battery will be equal to the sum of the currents in the four branches of a parallel circuit.
