To graph :  Two similar triangles whose scale factor is 1:3

Explanation of Solution

Given information :  Scale factor to use is 1:3

Graph : 

  

Interpretation :  In the above picture, there is two triangles $\Delta ABC$ with dimensions 1 cm each and $\Delta XYZ$ with dimensions 3 cm each.

Scale factor of both triangle = $\frac{AB}{XY}$ = $\frac{1}{3}$ = 1:3

Similarly, $\frac{BC}{YZ}$ = $\frac{1}{3}$ = 1:3

And $\frac{AC}{XZ}$ = $\frac{1}{3}$ = 1:3
