Explanation of Solution
Enterprise processes:
Enterprise processes provide the organization to sustain longer and also it supports activities performed in various departments.
Example: In a corporate company, the process of recruiting a person supports activities in financial department, the employee’s specialized department, and so on.
Figure 7-1:
Figure 7-22 is determined as enterprise processes because, the organization supports activities that are performed in various departments like “Engineering review”, “Health department”, and “Highway department”.
These departments are independent to each other. The activities of these independent departments are not related to one another, and hence it is not measured as departmental processes.
The activities of these departments are not considered as Interorganizational processes because; these activities are performed inside a single organization and not with multiple independent organizations.
