Chapter 7. PC #13. Name Search (page 492) Read these instructions for additional requirements carefully. Write a program that reads the contents of the two files into two separate arrays. The user should be able to enter a name the application will display messages indicating whether the names were among the most popular. 1. GirlNames.txt and BoyNames.txt contain a list of the 200 most popular names given to girls/boys born in the United States for the years 2000 through 2009. 2. Your application should use an array to hold the names. 3. The program should continue interacting with the user indefinitely unless the user chooses to quit by entering "QUIT" (should be case insensitive). 4. The user should enter a single name and the program will search the name in both lists. The user SHOULD NOT specify whether the search is for girls name or boys name. The program is responsible for finding either or both and telling the user where it found it. 5.…arrow_forwardJAVA PROGRAM Homework #2. Chapter 7. PC #13. English Surnames In the student sample program files for this chapter, you will find a text file named surnames.txt. The file contains 14,674 English surnames. Each line in the file has one surname. Write a program that reads the names from the file into a List. The program should let the user perform the following searches: Find all the names that are longer than a specified length. Find all the names that are shorter than a specified length. Find all the names that begin with a specified string of characters. (For example, find all the names that begin with “All”.) Determine whether a specified name exists in the List.arrow_forward1994 Weekly Gas GraphIn the student sample programs for this book, you will find a text file named 1994_Weekly_Gas_Averages.txt. The file contains the average gas price for each week in the year 1994.(There are 52 lines in the file.) Using matplotlib, write a Python program that reads thecontents of the file then plots the data as either a line graph or a bar chart. Be sure to displaymeaningful labels along the X and Y axes, as well as the tick marks. (in python)arrow_forward

Create a program that reads each line of the file and determines the highest score and who obtained it. This is an exercise in strings. You are required to use at least one string method to determine the names and the scores. Your output should resemble the following: Highest Score: 100Achieved by: Jay Note; i could not send an attachment of the actual file but i have copied its contents.arrow_forward
- Answer correctly and fast else downvote gurranteed Create a program that makes a grocery list. You will need an array of strings. You don’t know how many items will be on your list. Simple problem: User tells you how many items, then tells you the items. You display the items for the user. More complex problem: User tells you how many items, then tells you the items. You display the items for the user. At the end of the program, write the grocery list to a text file called grocery.txt. Even more complex problem: If grocery.txt exists, read it into an array and display to the user. User then tells you how many more items, and then tells you the items. You display all the items for the user. At the end of the program, write the grocery list to a text file called grocery.txt. Start with the simple program, move toward the complex one.arrow_forwardPYTHON PROGRAMMING There are six quizzes with grades 0 through 10.
