Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

The following statements new developments will bring supercapacitor into full compilation with rechargeable batteries functions has to be discussed.

Concept Introduction:

Supercapacitors: It is a electrochemical capacitor that has very high energy density as compared to other common capacitors. Super capacitor is 100 times greater when compare to other capacitor.

Super capacitor is also known as Electric Double Layer Capacitor (or) Ultra capacitor.

Battery: It is a storage device used for the storage of chemical energy and for the transformation of chemical energy into electrical energy.

Primary battery: Primary batteries are irreversible transform chemical energy to electrical energy. When the initial supply of reactants is exhausted, energy cannot be readily restored to the battery by electrical means.

Secondary battery: This can be recharged, that is they can have their chemical reaction reversed by supplying electrical energy to the cell restoring their original composition.

Rechargeable battery work because they use reaction are reversible, while non-rechargeable battery they use reactions are non-reversible.
