To determine:
The evident major theme for the statement given in the book “the combined actions of many different proteins determine whether a cell will divide or not” and also explain how the statement relates to the theme.
Introduction:
In cell division, the cell divides and produces two daughter cells. The cell shows two major types of division: mitosis and meiosis. The events of the cell cycle are controlled by various protein interactions, which is essential for the growth of cells. This interaction of protein to control the cell division is called as cell cycle control system or checkpoints. The checkpoints present between the two phases of the cell cycle that directs the cell towards the next phase of the cell cycle.
