Introduction:
Torque is a force that cause a rotation. Torque causes
Balls rotation depends on an applied torque. When a ball is released from bowler’s hand, it does not spin since there is no torque on the ball.
When it moves across the lane due to frictional force from the ground, it opposes the balls motion. This force applies torque on the ball due to which rotation rate of ball increases.
