Using NMR coupling constants, it is to be explained that how does the given two compounds should be distinguished from one another.

Concept introduction:

Axial bonds are parallel to the axis of ring and equatorial bonds are perpendicular to the axis of ring.

The dihedral angle between two axial bonds is ϕ=180° and dihedral angle between axial and an equatorial bond is ϕ=60°.

The coupling constant J(ax,ax) between two vicinal axial hydrogens of cyclohexane is around the value of 810 Hz and the couple constant between vicinal axial and equatorial protons, i.e., J(ax,eq) is around 23 Hz.
