Valence shell electron pair repulsion (VSEPR) is a model that is used for predicting the shape of the molecule.
Steps to predict the shape of molecule are as follows:
First identify the number of valence electrons in central atom.
Calculate the number of nonbonded pair of electrons and bond pair of electrons and then find number of electrons domains for the central atom.
Then predict the molecular geometry or shape of the molecule using VSEPR model.
