Question
Chapter 9, Problem 53RE
Interpretation Introduction
Interpretation:
The smallest and the largest types of RNA are to be discussed.
Concept Introduction:
RNA (ribonucleic acid) is a type of genetic material found in many organisms. Protein formation takes place from RNA. This RNA is transcribed from its DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid).
Ribosomal RNA (rRNA) is a component of ribosome is essential for protein synthesis. It is a major part of ribosomes. The rRNA molecule helps in the decoding of the messenger RNA (mRNA) sequence into the protein molecule.
